Race worn helmet by 20-time champion to be raffled off!

MECHANICSBURG, PA. – July 8, 2014 – Steve Kinser is in the midst of his final chase for the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series title. Despite multiple appearances and a jam-packed racing schedule, the ‘King of the Outlaws,’ is adding yet another worthy cause to his 2014 campaign.

“We’re extremely proud to announce that Steve Kinser will be donating a race worn helmet to be raffled off with the funds going towards our overall total for this years R&R Enterprises National Open Benefit presented by FK Rod Ends,” said Kolten Gouse, promoter of the event. “Steve has been a hero of mine and so many others over the years and the fact that he and Tony Stewart Racing have agreed to donate this helmet to our cause is just amazing. I cannot thank them enough. I’d also like to thank Shifty Illusions for doing such an amazing job on the design of the helmet. This truly makes the 2014 edition of the event very special.”

Fans can purchase raffle tickets for the helmet drawing beginning at the annual Brad Doty Classic at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on July 9th. Tickets will be available at the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series souvenir trailer or they can be purchased online at www.nationalopenbenefit.com for $10 per ticket or $25 for three tickets. The winner will be drawn at the World of Outlaws World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in November. The winner does not need to be present to win.

The 2014 edition of the R&R Enterprises National Open Benefit presented by FK Rod Ends takes place on Saturday, October 4th at Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg, Pa.
